Who are the classes for?
Our classes are for anyone 16+ (or 12+ if accompanied by a parent/guardian).

Cost: FREE TRIAL session. Simply come along to a class and see if its for you - no obligation whatsoever.
Membership is £25 monthly for one, two or three sessions per week (less than £5.80 per week for up to 3 sessions). 

WHAT DO I NEED?

All you need to bring is some drinking water! Sports clothing recommended. Barefoot or training shoes are both fine.

After a few classes you may want to buy some wraps and/or boxing gloves, as these help protect your wrist and hands as your technique improves and you start to punch harder! All other equipment (kick shields, punch pads, skipping ropes, +fun stuff etc) included.

ABOUT

My name is Jon and I've lived in Hilton, Dorset since 2000. I took up full kickboxing back in 2014 and earned my black belt after years of training. I initially took up kickboxing alongside my three sons just as a bit of fun. I didn't realise I'd personally get as much, if not more out of it than they did! I certainly hadn't anticipated the social benefits of group classes, the increased confidence, as well as the excellent overall fitness attained. I definitely didn't expect to enjoy myself nearly as much as I did.

Subsequently, I have taught full kickboxing (group classes and individual) in local and private schools across Dorset. I now offer local (broader) group KickBox-Fit classes for everyone. 

Kickbox-Fit aims to bring more accessible, no macho, no contact, kickboxing oriented fitness classes rather than a full on martial arts class. The focus being very much on participating in a fun, friendly, encouraging environment and getting the best out of you - no matter what level of fitness you are. 

Whilst you will learn a full, comprehensive kickboxing syllabus (up to black belt techniques and combinations) over time, there won't be any contact sparring and no belt gradings to worry about in these classes. However, separate (light) sparring sessions 1-2 times a month are available for anyone wanting to put their new skills to the test! 

For your peace of mind I am enhanced DBS certified, fully insured and First Aid qualified. Certificates for all these are always available in class.
